What is CONFOTUR and how does it benefit me?

CONFOTUR is the Dominican Republic Tourism Law 158-01. Apartments in classified projects (like Salado III) are exempt from ITBI (3% of purchase value) and exempt from income tax on rental income for 15 years. The tax saving is a core piece of the estimated yield.

Is financing available?

The official plan is 10/30/30/30 in staged payments as construction progresses. This is not a traditional bank loan — it is a calendar agreed with the developer: you pay per milestone, not fixed monthly installments. If you need local or international bank financing, we coordinate references with banks that work with foreign buyers.

When is Salado III delivered?

The official delivery date is announced at public launch. VIP-list members receive the detailed schedule (permits → construction start → key handover) as soon as confirmed. For reference, Salado I (previous phase) is currently under construction.

How does vacation rental management work?

We offer optional professional management: listing on platforms (Airbnb, Booking, VRBO), guest care, cleaning, maintenance and monthly revenue reports. Typical fee 20-25% on gross revenue. The 9.5% estimated yield assumes this professional management. Self-managing can move the figure up or down.

Can I visit the area before reserving?

Yes — and we recommend it. We coordinate visits to the Bávaro showroom and the Salado I construction site so you see the developer’s quality in person. Tell us in the form if you are traveling to Punta Cana and we’ll arrange the agenda.
